The bench and canopy acrylics are hinged and can be raised and lowered effortlessly to allow for routine cleaning and access. All lamp frames are also hinged and completely accessible from the front of the unit so that even untrained personnel can perform routine maintenance or replacement. One very special feature of the VIVA V4 is that the operating system of the machine is designed with Electro Mechanical components. This means that any qualified electrician can perform troubleshooting quickly and effeciently, and most electrical replacement parts are common off the shelf items found at your local electrical supply house as opposed to expensive complicated circuit boards that can only be purchased through the manufacturer.

The exclusive design of the Dr. Kern P.F.T. 3.6 facials provides the result that keep your customers coming back for more. The unilateral base high-pressure lamp is mounted vertically within a parabolic dome that consists of hundreds of tiny segmental reflectors directing the intensified light spectrum towards the occupant. Only the most desirable UVA and UVB tanning rays are transmitted resulting in maximum melanin production and oxidation. Before reaching the surface of the skin the light must pass though the Dr. Kern P.F.T. vapor coated glass lens that filters out almost all of the unwanted heat generating infrared rays, providing comfort for your clients.

COOL OPERATOR

Considering the complexity of today's high performance equipment it is valid to say that it is all about the cooling. High performance lamps will never reach their intended optimal output if operating in conditions that are too hot or too cold. To maintain the proper temperature the VIVA V4 utilizes a sophisticated central air flow system that is constantly self-monitored for proper operation. Due to the extremely high output of the lamps supplemental cool air is distributed via the onboard air conditioning unit and distributed through the double-acrylic cooling structure in the bench.

The sleek ventilation stack accommodates the powerful central hot air extraction system. Removal of the hot air from the lamp compartments is critical in order to ensure optimal output of High-Performance VHR lamps and a comfortable perspiration-free session for your clients.

Keeping your customers cool is also important. Users can set their own individual preference via the control panel that allows for three levels of cooling for the fans at the head and foot end of the bed. Each end is controlled separately and the direction of the airflow is completely adjustable. Full body cooling is accomplished through the six strategically placed vents running down the center of the canopy.

The extra-wide body tanning surface is designed with an ergonomically molded bench acrylic that is set at a 2.5 degree angle to provide a relaxing and comfortable session. Hospital grade acrylic surfaces are gently curved and seamless thus eliminating crevices that notoriously trap dirt and bacteria, making the bed more sanitary and easier to clean.
